The Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network has published an opinion piece in
the Canadian Medical Association Journal about Bill C-15, currently
before the Canadian parliament. The bill would impose mandatory minimum
prison terms for certain drug offences involving any quantity of
controlled substances. In the article, Patricia Allard of the Legal
Network discusses Bill C-15 in the context of HIV, drug use and prisons.
